The 27-year-old Frederic had 15 points (8G / 7A) and 157 hits in 58 games this season.

Landeskog (knee) is listed as a scratch on the official roster report.

Landeskog has not played in an NHL game since the 2021-22 season, but appeared in two AHL games during a conditioning loan this month. The Avalanche did not confirm that he would play, but stated he was an option to replace Ross Colton if Colton is unable to go. Ultimately, it will be Miles Wood that replaces Colton on Monday.

Colton (lower-body) will be a game-time decision in Game 2.

Colton left Game 1 with lower-body injury and did not return. The Avalanche coaching staff said that Colton is feeling "not great," so he seems closer to doubtful than questionable. Gabriel Landeskog is an option to replace Colton in the lineup if he's unable to play.

Schneider had surgery to repair a torn labrum and is expected to be ready for the start of the 2025-26 regular season.

Schneider missed the final two games of the regular season and had been playing through the shoulder injury, and wanted to address it before the 2025-26 season. He already underwent surgery, so he's expected to be in training camp in the spring.

Robertson is week-to-week with a lower-body injury.

Robertson was hurt early in the Stars' season finale in Nashville and is out week-to-week. Robertson has been ruled out for Game 1, leaving the Stars without two of their top players to start the series, with Miro Heiskanen also sidelined. With Robertson out, the Stars will go with a more balanced lineup, with Mikko Rantanen skating with Wyatt Johnston, while Roope Hintz centres Evgenii Dadonov and Mikael Granlund.
