The 25-year-old Kurashev has had a disappointing 2024-25 campaign, with only 10 points (6G / 4A) in 42 games this season. That said, he has been more productive lately, scoring five points (3G / 2A) in his last 11.
Chinakhov has not played since November 27th but appears to be nearing a return after practicing on Monday. Before his injury, the 23-year-old Chinakhov was averaging a career-high 17:01 time-on-ice, scoring 14 points (7G / 7A) in 21 games.
Thrun did not play on Saturday and will be sidelined for at least a week after being placed on Injured Reserve due to an undisclosed injury. The Sharks recalled Jimmy Schuldt from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) in a corresponding move.
