Scheifele (undisclosed) skated again on Tuesday and is considered a game-time decision for Game 1 on Wednesday.

Scheifele has skated for the past several days and appears to be getting close to returning to the Jets' lineup. The team wouldn't commit to him playing in Game 1, so he remains day-to-day and is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday.

Mark Scheifele
Ehlers (lower-body) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play in Game 6.

Ehlers has been out since April 12th with a lower-body injury he suffered in a collision with a referee in Chicago. His return comes at a perfect time because the Jets are missing Mark Scheifele due to an undisclosed injury he suffered in Game 5. Before getting hurt, Ehlers was having one of the best seasons of his career, scoring 24 goals with 39 assists (63 points) in 69 games.

Hellebuyck will start Game 6 in St. Louis.

The Jets enter Game 6 with a 3-2 series lead over the St. Louis Blues and will hope to close out the series, turning to Hellebuyck between the pipes. Hellebuyck has battled some adversity this postseason and was far from perfect in his most recent outing, allowing three goals on 19 shots (.842 SV%), but received ample goal support in a 5-3 victory. The 31-year-old netminder has a 3.96 GAA and .822 SV% in five games this postseason (3-2). The Jets enter Game 6 on Friday as slight -101 road underdogs against the Blues.

Ehlers (lower-body) will be a game-time decision for Game 6 in St. Louis on Friday.

Ehlers has only played twice in the last fours weeks but will make his 2024-25 playoff debut on Friday in Game 6. The Jets lead their series 3-2 over the St. Louis Blues and have been cautious with Ehler's return to the lineup after reaggravating an injury after attempting to return late in the season. The 29-year-old Ehlers scored 63 points (24G / 39A) in 63 games this season.

Hellebuyck will start Game 5 vs. St. Louis on Wednesday.

During the regular season, Hellebuyck was outstanding, a leading candidate for the Vezina trophy, posting an absurd 2.00 GAA and .925 SV% in 63 appearances (47-12-3). He allowed five goals in a game, never more, on three separate occasions. In his last two games this postseason (0-2), Hellebuyck has allowed 11 goals on 43 shots (.744 SV%). With the series tied 2-2, Hellebuyck hopes to exercise some playoff demons, returning to the crease for Game 5. The Jets enter the action on Wednesday as -176 home favorites against a Blues team that has outscored them 16-10 in the series.
