Blackwell will slot into the lineup after sitting out the first game of round three. Oskar Back will sit in his place.

Blackwell has been a healthy scratch for both of Dallas' opening games of their second series but will draw back in for Oskar Back on Sunday for Game 3. The 32-year-old scrappy forward had a massive overtime goal vs. Colorado in Dallas' opening round series, but has done little offensively since that game, with only one point in six total playoff games.

Blackwell did not participate in Tuesday's practice, and it doesn't sound like he'll be available for Game 1 on Wednesday. Luckily for the Stars, it looks like Jason Robertson may return to take Blackwell's spot in the lineup.

Blackwell was a healthy scratch in the season finale and Game 1, but is expected to replace Mavrik Bourque in Game 2. Blackwell finished the regular season with 17 points (6G / 11A) in 63 games.

Oskar Back will draw back into the Stars' lineup on Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets, resulting in Blackwell being a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old Blackwell is averaging 11:35 time-on-ice and has 15 points (5G / 10A) in 61 games this season.

Blackwell will take a seat on Thursday as the Stars opt to get some fresh legs into their lineup for the tail-end of their back-to-back. Mavrik Bourque will draw into the lineup in his place.
